Some common types of grievances are as follows:
    Advancement onto Step in RAP/Verizon only
    Denial Death in Family
    Write UP placed in File
    Placement onto PIP Plan
    InCharge Abuse
    Management Doing Bargaining Unit Work
 

The following timeframe is applicable for filing of grievances:
 
American Red Cross - must file grievance 10 working days following the day you either knew or had reason to know of the event giving rise to the grievance.
 
Verizon: 30 Days to file a grievance from "when it becomes known"
 
Idearc: within 28 Calendar days of the occurrence
