We suffered a terrible blow when we lost the AT&T Wireless Organizing Campaign
Election. There were over 450 employees at the location and in spite of all the support we
had, we lost the vote. The CWA National Organizing department is reviewing the campaign to
see if any Labor charges can be filed to appeal the vote. Thanks to District 13 Staff,
Marge Kruger and CWA Local AT&T division officers Pam Jackson and Tina Fleming for all
their efforts in the campaign. We need to continue to keep in touch with those employees
to ensure in another year when we can try again, we have maintained contact with them and
continue to support the union's efforts to organize the unit.
